The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually happening.
